Danielle Lake, MA
(She/Her)

I’m passionate about helping teenagers, adults, and couples of all identities and relationship structures build deeper connections with themselves and others. My approach to therapy is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in the belief that healing happens in relationships—both with yourself and with those you care about. I create a safe, non-judgmental space where clients can explore their concerns, and together, we work toward growth and lasting change.

“The quality of our relationships determines the quality of our lives.” – Esther Perel

Training and Certifications:

  • Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education, University of Wisconsin – River Falls
  • Master of Arts in Counseling, with a focus on Marriage, Couples, and Family Counseling, Adler Graduate School

I particularly enjoy working with individuals and couples in the perinatal and new parent space, as I understand the unique joys and challenges that come with this transformative period. Being a new mom can bring feelings of both joy and overwhelm, and it often feels like there’s a lack of support for the difficult aspects—like depression, anxiety, isolation, lack of sleep, and relationship struggles. I work with new parents to help them navigate these challenges and develop healthier coping strategies so they can find balance, support, and a sense of connection during this exciting but exhausting time.

In addition to supporting new parents, I also work with individuals experiencing mental health challenges such as depression, anxiety, and life transitions. I provide therapy for teens, adults, and couples, helping them uncover the patterns that may be contributing to their distress and working toward healthier ways of thinking, feeling, and relating. My holistic approach acknowledges that healing involves the mind, body, and spirit, and I’m committed to creating a warm, inclusive space where humor and lightness are welcome. Whether you’re struggling with relationship difficulties, mental health challenges, or navigating a significant life change, I’m here to guide you through the process of self-discovery and healing.
