Isabel Meyer-Mueller, MS
(She/Her)

I believe that sharing who we are is one of the most courageous things we can do. Although seeking help can be daunting, I am here to make the process as seamless as possible. I am honored to be able to gain the trust of clients and create a space where they feel comfortable sharing vulnerable parts of themselves. My goal is to foster a relationship of radical kindness, compassion, and connection. I believe that connection with ourselves and with others can act as a vehicle for healing hurts from the past and creating hope for the future.

You are the expert on your own life and my role as a therapist is to honor your thoughts, feelings, and experiences while working collaboratively to make a plan of action. Rather than providing advice, I am here to help you create your own answers and ultimately create a life that you love living.

“Tell me, what else should I have done?

Doesn’t everything die at last, and too soon?

Tell me, what is it you plan to do

with your one wild and precious life?”

Mary Oliver

Focus Areas:

While I work with a diverse set of clients that include couples, families, and individuals, I take a particular interest in working with couples. I find it invigorating to walk with couples as they navigate through life transitions, conflict, and change. I particularly enjoy working with couples who are struggling with mismatched sexual desires and sexual dysfunction. When working with couples with concerns related to sex/intimacy, I am drawn to models such as the Good Enough Sex Model. In short, this means that I work to help clients identify and explore messages that they received around sex and sexuality throughout their lives, create realistic and flexible expectations around sex, and provide specific exercises and homework assignments to continue building progress outside of sessions.

In all of my sessions, my approach to therapy is rooted in bodily autonomy, pleasure positivity, reproductive justice, and a queer-affirming lens. I want to be collaborative with you in order to address the areas that are most impacting you individually and in the relationship.
