(She/Her)

My style of therapy is one that aims for comfortability and authenticity. I bring to therapy an accepting and affirming space to help facilitate personal growth and understanding. My goal is to help guide you on your journey through kind, direct, and collaborative approaches that help create the change you want to see.

“The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change.”

Training and Certifications:

  • Master of Science – Marriage and Family Therapy
  • Graduate Certificate- Sex Therapy

When I talk to people about my education and career, I can be met with the question: “Why?” The answer is simple really, “why not?” Mental and behavioral health are important, valid, and are integral parts of our lives and as such, treatment and resources for mental health should be normalized and supported. Through my work, I get the privilege to help others find and/or strengthen and empower the parts of themselves that are paramount to their being, their relationships, and their lives.

Focus Areas:

I take special interest in working with teenagers because our adolescent years are a formative time where we learn about ourselves while desiring a connection with others and sometimes it can be a confusing and overwhelming time in our lives. Helping teens figure out not only themselves but their place in this world, is an exciting and fun journey. I facilitate this journey by valuing our therapeutic relationship and building rapport, encouraging authenticity, and conducting therapy as easy-going and conversationally as possible.”

I enjoy working with couples because it is rewarding to help facilitate a space where couples are able to show up authentically while strengthening their relationship. Whether you’re coming to therapy to communicate about specific concerns or for general wellness, I see my position as being the one to help you get to wherever it is you wish to be together. While in therapy (and out of therapy) the intended mindset is not one partner vs the other, it is the partners together vs the problem and I will collaborate with you and be on your team to tackle whatever it is that is bringing you here.
